Home Made Kids Hat Initiative 

We have started an initiative to provide children with headwear. In the hard New England winters, cost-free headwear is important.

21+ Adult Halloween Dance

Come wear a costume and dance the night away at our 21+ dance! Tickets are $25, $40 for two. 6PM - 10PM at the Elks Lodge in Sanford.

Grayson CoLe Hoyt

In 2014, Grayson Cote Hoyt passed away 20 days old. We would have liked to think that he'd be a big supporter and helper of non profit work. By creating this nonprofit in honor of him will help us hold him in our hearts.

June Report

Learn more about the things we have done recently.

1) Thanks to the amazing two hairdressers Lilyana and Victora we announced our free kids haircut day to be held August 23rd 

2) We created a Walmart Registry to purchase kids pools, fans for those kids who don't have access to Air Conditioning. We added some other items we needed as well for other events. Mainelypressurewashing generously donated via venmo enough for us to purchase four box fans and a 10 in fan. Tiffany D generously shipped to us via our Walmart Registry two kiddie pools, two box fans, juice boxes, chips, and kids sunglasses. We also donated three baby pools as well. All these pools, fans were donated to local kids to help them stay cool.

3) We were invited to attend Sanford Middle School's JMG program ending ceremony. It was wonderful seeing those students shine!

4) Photography By Brittney Thyng generously offered two free senior photo mini sessions with the only requirement the student needs to Volunteer with a non-profit for two hours. These two spots are still available.We announced our joint venture with the Laundry Fairy,  Saturday August 9th we will both be at the Launderite in Sanford handing out quarters to families with kids. We appreciate Little Acre Farm in Lebanon for allowing us to have a quarter donation jar there.

5)We got our first Holiday Craft Fair Sponsor, Wears Bonnie Scrubs! If you or your business would like to be a sponsor please reach out. The funds will be used for the venue fee.

April - May Quarterly Report

April 

  1. We wrapped up collecting donations for the Sanford Middle School JMG program feminine hygiene project. Thank you to everyone who donated towards this. A big thank you to Meg Ryan State Farm office for letting us have a donation box there. The two students who started this program had successfully implemented this program and now every bathroom in the middle school has a basket of feminine hygiene products. Students now have the option of not having to go to the nurses office to get a feminine hygiene product.
  2. Mainelypressurewashing generously donated 7 Big Pop Figures which we did a free raffle for. The kids came with their parents to receive them and the smiles made our day. They also donated 1 Easter basket, 7 Action Figures, 30 regular pop figures, and 2 medium size pop figures. All which were donated to local kids.
  3. We donated the last of the girl scout cookies to Shapleigh Memorial School , Sanford Post Office, and the Kindness Crusaders.
  4. Amber a talented high school student volunteered with us by making some amazing flyers and helping us with TikTok
  5. Headwear for my Homies generously donated 2 trash bags full of homemade kids hats for us to give away at our November Craft Fair.
  6. We donated two baby pools, four Easter Color me t shirts, one Raman bowl set.
  7. Thanks to the Maine Mariners we were able to donate four tickets to a game to a family.
  8. We did a jellybean raffle for $1 a guess and thanks to Smitty's we were able to give the lucky winner two movie tickets. The winner was a mom and her child.
  9. Thanks to the generosity of Faith & David we were able to donate 14 new Lego Sets to some very excited kids.
  10. Thanks to Debbie H. we were able to donate some snacks to Shapleigh Memorial School. She also donated a new loom kit to us and yarn so we may make even more kids winter hats.
  11. Thanks to a very generous donation from Debbie H, and Art thru meagans eye , and Hilari
  12. M. we were able to donate 300 ice cream cups and spoons to Acton Elementary School, and 180 to Shapleigh Memorial School for every student to enjoy
  13. We had our 21+ Adult Prom! A huge thank you to everyone who donated, helped, and bought tickets. It was a successful and fun night. This was our biggest fundraiser yet and wouldn't have been possible without everyone! We had leftover Whoopie Pies from Woodja Woodja Whoopie Pies which we went around donating some yumminess afterwards!
  14. Thank you to LeClair Foundation for donating a refurbished laptop so we may do behind the scenes work more efficiently and for printing some flyers for us!

May

  1. Little Acre Farm generously offered a bread bake sale fundraiser for each Saturday in the month to a different non-profit. We were mentioned and by votes we were chosen as the first non-profit! We received $52.48! We appreciate Little Acre Farm and everyone who voted for us.
  2. We used the money from the bread bake sale fundraiser and thanks to the generosity of Lilyana from Rand House of Beauty (she offered us a set price) We were able to give four kids haircuts in any style.
  3. Our kid/ adult dance was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came and thank you to everyone who donated! Little Acre Farm for some glow in dark bracelets, Oriental Trading for frog jumpers, Brittney for candy and some other goodies, Kindness Crusaders for some yummy cookies, Market Basket for some uncrustables and juice, Virginia for water and helping with everything. Thank you to the two JMG students who volunteered and helped us set up.
  4. The leftover uncrustables, juice was donated to two families who could use the extra help. Goodies bags were made and dropped off to Little Acre Farm's Kindness Closet for the kids, as well as the fruit snacks. The dinosaur lollipops were donated to a Sanford bus driver to hand out.
  5. Thank you to Debbie H for making four kids winter hats.
  6. We gave away in a free raffle a $15 gift card to Dunkin Donuts
  7. A huge thank you to LeClair Foundation for creating our website! We are beyond grateful

January - March Quarterly Report

  • Donated toothbrushes to local kids through Kindness Crusaders
  • Started a homemade kids’ hats initiative. Donated the first hat to a boy named Grayson. Partnered with Headwear for my Homies to create more hats for a winter giveaway.
  • Helped start a feminine hygiene project in a local middle school. Donated $20 worth of products.
  • Donated a bag of leveled readers to a local elementary school.
  • Donated snacks to a local elementary school.
  • Donated candy to a local elementary school’s prize program.
  • Purchased 16 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from a local troop. (Donated to Blackbear Auto, Sanford Post Office, Acton Elementary, Atria Nursing Home)
  • Selected for Shaws Reusable Bag Program nonprofit for January, $62 to be sent by check in June.

  • Made and donated coloring Valentine’s cards to the Pre-K class at Acton Elementary.
  • Donated two ramen bowls and a Hello Kitty pillow.
  • Held a free raffle for a $25 McDonald’s gift card.
  • Gave away Valentine lollipops and gummy bands.
